EDRI and AFD Agree to Work Together

The Ethiopian Development Research Institute (EDRI) and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) signed a collaborative agreement on 15 December 2015 at EDRI.

As per the agreement, the two parties will jointly undertake a research and policy support program centered on the objectives and sectors of the second Ethiopian Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP II). H.E. Newai Gebre-ab, Executive Director of EDRI and M. Christian Yoka, Regional Director of AFD, Ethiopia signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties.

 

The project will include knowledge management, original methods, development of policy monitoring and evaluation tools, training and experience sharing, publication, communication and outreach activities.
